Mithil is a graduate student at SMS, with a keen interest in the formation and evolutionary history of the icy moons in our Solar System. He earned his Integrated Master’s degree in Exploration Geophysics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur in 2024. As an undergraduate, he investigated impact cratering processes under the guidance of Prof. Vijayan S and studied magma chamber life cycles with Prof. Dewashish Upadhyay.
