Varun Manilal
Graduate Student
Varun is a graduate student at SESE, specializing in the study of volatiles and accretion of planetary bodies to constrain the formation of planets in our solar system and other exoplanetary systems. He obtained his Integrated Master’s degree from the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneshwar (India) in 2023. At NISER, he worked with Dr Liton Majumdar on modeling protoplanetary disks, focusing on understanding chemical compositions in contrasting regions of the disk, the hot inner regions, and the outer icy regimes.
